Question: Oil Has Turned Dark and Milky After about 1100 miles of use with Mobil 1 full synthetic, my oil turns dark and has a milky like consistency.  I have consulted many of my friends who say the same happens to them.  Is this a problem in Mobil 1 oils or are these just isolated incidents? -- Ray Luevano, Copperas Cove, TX Answer: We are not aware of this issue unless you are making multiple short trips and never fully warming up the car.  If this is the case, we recommend a 20-minute drive on a freeway or interstate to drive off excess moisture.
