Question:
Any Reason to Switch to Mobil 1 High Mileage in Car with No Issues
I have a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country LXi (3.8) with 97,000 miles trouble free on it. I have used Mobil 1 since day one. Is there any reason I should consider switching to the newly introduced Mobil 1 High Mileage formula? I typically add a .5 quart every 4,000 miles and change the oil between 4,000 and 5,000 miles. Would there be any benefit to make such a switch since I have always used Mobil1 and I am the only owner? Thank you
-- C. Surrell, Saline, MI
Answer:
Mobil 1 has provided outstanding protection to your vehicle during these years.  There is no reason to switch to Mobil 1 High Mileage.  You don't describe any reason to change at this time.
