| | My wife and I have been longing to purchase a "fun" car to enjoy for quite some time now. We finally were able to and after some long hours visiting multiple car lots we chose the Chrysler Crossfire. I had read many articles on the car and also had seen several television shows detailing its performance and beauty. Knowing Mercedes-Benz built 85% of the car also helped me believe that this car was built to run.
Until this car I had never used Mobil 1 products. The manufacturer suggested the use of Mobil 1 0W-40 and considering who built the car I'm going to believe what they suggest. The car is supposed to go at least 7,000 miles on a oil change, but being new to Mobil 1 performance and durability I was uneasy going that far. I changed the oil at 5,000 miles and was shocked to see that the oil still looked fantastic. The Crossfire's "flexible service system" monitors the oil and will adjust the service interval according to how well the oil is holding up. Since changing the oil I've gone roughly 4,000 miles and the "FSS" has already added on an extra 1,500 miles to when my next servicing is due thanks to the outstanding performance of this amazing oil. Nothing else will ever touch this car, or any car I own for that matter. They say 'seeing is believing', well, I'm a huge believer now. Thanks!
