| | My car is a 2007 Pontiac G6 GT Sedan. The colors are granite grey with a black interior. Under the hood I have a GM 3500 3.5L V6 and a 4-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. I have added a few minor suspension and performance upgrades.
This is my first "real" car. By "real" I mean a ride that is worth taking care of. As I work to pay off college debt, I can't afford to always use premium parts or fuel; however I do spring for premium engine oil. I put 3,000 miles on the dealer's oil and then switched over to Mobil 1 5W-30 with a Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter. It is easy to see that Mobil 1 is worth using in my engine. While using it, my car runs smooth and clean. I can get better mileage while I own the car and can expect a better trade-in value when it's time to move on. As if that wasn't enough, I can travel further between oil changes with Mobil 1, which actually saves me money in the long run. The performance is great, too. It purrs when it's resting and jumps off the line when I hit the throttle. It also stands up to the harsh commute which it endures on a daily basis. I find that all it takes is some routine care and a quality product in critical roles such as engine oil. Indeed, using Mobil 1 makes a big difference in how I own and drive my vehicle.
