Wanting a truly distinctive 4-wheel drive, I looked for years for the perfect
classic truck. I am delighted! We have been working this truck pretty hard
at Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina - trips into the hills and
various treks around town. Being a moderately high mileage truck, I want to
take the best possible care with regard to the oil I use. 15W-50 is what Land
Rover calls for and that's what I use....as did the last four owners before me.
Using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 15W-50, the truck burns no oil, runs smooth
as a top, and digs like heck uphill. What can I say? The best Truck deserves
the best Oil.
