| | My car was a hand-me-down from my dad. He bought it as a used company car with 50,000 miles on it. When I first got it I cleaned it inside out. I polished it, waxed it, checked all fluids, replaced the air filter, and of course, changed the oil. It hasn't had a single problem since I've owned it, which I think is rare for this car. I treat it well and only give it the very best, including Mobil 1 oil.
Until recently, I used Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-20. I change my oil every 5,000 miles realizing however, that an oil change every 10,000 miles would be more than enough. I started using Mobil 1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy. It seems as though it makes my engine run even quieter and smoother. I started driving more efficiently and get an average of 26 MPG (up from an average of 20 MPG) on a car rated 16 MPG city/24 MPG highway (converted to new EPA standards). Part of this may be my driving style, but I can't deny that this engine oil is super!
