| | I have had this truck for a little less than one year. I drive it daily to work and back, and around town, up to 15,000 or more miles a year. I've put 11,000 miles on in just about 10 months. The truck has been good, the miles are all original. The only mods to the truck have been the left and dual exhaust. Other than that it's stock. The truck does see extreme temperatures and off road use, and still I have had no problems. I know it's not needed with synthetic motor oil, but I keep very routine maintenance on the truck. It sees service every 2,500 miles. I have used synthetic since I bought the truck. The truck is filled with Mobil 1 synthetics - in the engine, manual transmission, the divorced transfer case and the differentials. I changed all these oils after about a month of driving. After changing the oil I noticed a performance difference as well as 1.8 miles per gallon fuel economy. I had to replace the oil pan gasket so I inspected all of the bottom end parts I could without removing the main or rad bearing caps. I found that the bottom end still looks brand new; the cylinder walls show no wear. The powertrain gears still look like new. The truck on the interstate will turn almost 3000 rpm. The fact that all these parts still look like they do after all I do is great. I am a heavy truck mechanic and recommend all your oils to truckers when they come in for service.
