I purchased the vehicle in October 2004 with 75,000 miles on the odometer.
It's my daily driver, averaging 500 miles per week. I just reached the 100,000
mile mark and am loving it!
Before switching to Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5W-40, the truck was consuming about
one quart of conventional oil every 3,000 miles. With Mobil 1 I have
essentially zero oil consumption over an extended oil change interval of 5,000
miles. I've also noted a 7% increase in fuel economy since making the switch.
